September 17 Gap Meeting

Hello everyone! Welcome to our student blog for Gap IDOL! Today we entered the room and were surprised with heaps and heaps of food prepared by Kenza's mom! THANK YOU! We started the meeting with Mr. Mitchell and Ms. Bodhaine. They explained to us what to bring on the trip. They even brought in the clothes to give an example! The packing list seemed pretty simple but just to make sure, Mr. Mitchell gave us the name of place to go buy things we don't already have. It is called the "Outdoor Store" located on Jalan Ampang for those of you who forgot! Then we started discussing GAP idol and got into our four seperate groups. We seem to be starting off on the right page! Today we haven't got any pictures yet, but just wait until the next blog entries. Seeya next Thursday! :)

Nepal Fact

One cool fact about nepal is that it only became a Republic in 2007. Before that Nepal was a monarchy. At one point in time, a prince decided to murder his whole family in order to gain power. Afterwards, he also decided to murder himself!
Nepal has borders with India and China!
